Steven E. Frankel
Steven E. Frankel has broad experience in all phases of commercial litigation and has represented plaintiffs and defendants in both federal and state courts. He has handled a wide variety of matters, including those involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, trademark infringement, partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duties, labor and employment-related disputes, and construction-related disputes.
Steven graduated cum laude from Yeshiva University in 2000 with a degree in economics and was named to the Dean’s List. In 2004, he received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. After law school, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable Stanley R. Chesler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Steven practiced at Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman LLP, and at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. While at Simpson Thacher, he co-authored with Jonathan K. Youngwood a chapter titled “Due Diligence as a Litigation Defense” in the Practicing Law Institute’s handbook, Conducting Due Diligence 2006.
